SILVER LIFT DRIVERS ARE
Peace of Mind is a Standard Practice
We set the Standards on Rideshare Background Checks.
Our Drivers have to go through a stringent professionally background check.
Drivers must submit a valid driver's license, social security number, vehicle insurance, and references.
Our background checks include a social security number trace, a nationwide criminal search, driving history check, a county court records search, a federal criminal search, as well as a US Department of Justice 50-state sex offender registry search, and a reference check.
Our Driver’s also agree to go through random drug test throughout the year.
To remain on our platform, active drivers need to pass another background check every 6 months.
We go further to make sure we have honest, safe, and reliable drivers.

We are dedicated to providing an affordable transportation option to keep seniors and visually impaired adults safe, engaged, independent and active within our community.
HOW IS SILVER LIFT DIFFERENT FROM OTHERS?
Other transportation services are available, but most are curb-to-curb services and many of them have greater restrictions in their hours, destinations and trip purposes or do not provide the personal care, or door-to-door, and door-through-door service that we offer to our riders.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO USE THIS SERVICE?
Silver Lift is available to individuals 55 and older or visually impaired adults of any age. A caregiver, family member, or a guest may tag along with eligible individuals as long as they are going to the same destination.
WILL THE DRIVER HELP WITH MY CARRY ITEMS?
Our drivers will always help you with your walker, crutches, and packages getting in and out of the vehicle. We know it can be challenging to carry groceries or packages when there are limitations involved. Our drivers are there to assist. Please keep in mind that the meter is running while the driver is helping you carrying your items. By law, we have to pay them for their time.
WILL MY INSURANCE PAY FOR MY RIDES?
Although we are registered as a Licensed Medical Service Provider. Our National Provider Identification Number is 1972003655 and our Texas Provider Identification Number is 3824278, we are not a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Company.
If your insurance provider would be willing to pay for your rides using our services, please contact your insurance provider and give them our information. If they agree to do so, they would have to contact us directly to invoice them.
